A Message from your Executive Director

Happy April!

Stress is a natural part of life, but when it becomes overwhelming, it can affect our well-being in unexpected ways. Being mindful of our daily stressors—whether they come from work,

relationships, or other responsibilities—can help us take small, meaningful steps toward relief.

Even during difficult times, hope can be found in the form of supportive people, healthy habits,

and moments of calm. Taking time to pause, reflect, and ask for help when needed is a powerful step toward healing.

Navigating the mental health system can feel confusing or even discouraging at times. That’s

why building strong relationships with community partners is so important. These partnerships

provide vital tools, resources, and pathways to care that empower individuals and families to get

the support they need. Together, we can create a network of care that ensures no one has to

walk their journey alone.

We’re excited to invite you to our Annual Mental Health Resource Fair on Saturday, May

17th, from 10AM to 2PM, hosted at the Boise Brick House (704 N. 7th Street, Boise). This

free, family-friendly event will feature a variety of mental health vendors, free food, face painting,

fun activities, amazing raffle prizes, and a limited number of free zoo passes! It’s a great

opportunity for families to connect with local resources and for vendors to showcase the

services they offer to support mental wellness in our community. Don’t miss it!
