Hello! I am Samikshya Pudasaini, and I am an international student at Santa Rosa Junior College, originally from Nepal. My journey here has been shaped by a passion for learning, creativity, and exploration. While photography is one of my greatest passions, I am also deeply interested in research, especially in the areas of plant and animal ecosystems. In my free time, I love expressing myself through paper craft and dance, which allow me to unwind and tap into my creative side.

Photography, for me, is more than just a medium—it’s a way to capture the beauty and complexity of the world around me.

Alongside this, my interest in environmental research drives me to better understand the delicate relationships between plants, animals, and their ecosystems. I hope to use both my creative and analytical skills in the future to contribute to the conservation of our planet.

One of the best pieces of advice I’ve ever heard is, “Success is not measured by what you achieve, but by the obstacles you overcome to get there.” This resonates with me deeply, as my journey as an international student has been filled with challenges and learning opportunities. Success, to me, is not just about reaching a goal but about growing through the process and persevering in the face of difficulties.

I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to study at SRJC and am excited to continue learning, growing, and sharing my passions with others. I look forward to combining my love for creativity, research, and the environment to make a positive impact on the world around me.
