HMIS User Directory Now Live!

HMIS has created a searchable directory for all active users. This should allow all users to more easily contact community members who are working with shared clients. The directory shows the email addresses and office phone numbers on file. We hope this feature assists in creating an even more collaborative space within our system, thus providing quicker and more efficient assistance to our clients.

To find the directory, go to:

Case Management tab > HMIS Custom Solutions > HMIS User Directory

Contact information out of date? You can quickly update your info at any time by going to the My Caseworthy tab and clicking My Info*.

System Status Added to Website

Our team has added System Status updates to our website to keep our users more informed on how HMIS is running.

If you are experiencing technical issues with HMIS, you can visit havenforhope.org/hmis-login/ to see if there is a known system-wide problem. We will do our best to update this page as soon as we are aware of any major issues.

Changes to HMIS Training Environment

Our team has made major changes to the way users can practice entering data in HMIS. The original Training Environment will no longer be available, and all accounts at the existing links have been deactivated.

Instead, we have created a new training center within the existing Live Environment that allows users to safely practice HMIS entry without having to use a separate link. This new training area will still have ready-made test clients and test enrollments to use, but you will still be able to create new profiles to test as needed.

We will also be hosting a virtual Office Hour where we can answer any questions about this change.

HMIS Training Returning to Survey Monkey

At this time we will be postponing our switch to using the ATP platform for all HMIS trainings. We will instead be returning to using Survey Monkey as our primary method of training new users.

In addition, Principles of HMIS training will now be available as a virtual module, just like the other New Users training.

Enhanced Reservation Functionality

We have made some updates to the Housing Exception Form. You should now be able to create housing exceptions for any open bed reservation. We have also updated the list of housing exceptions to show all available options.
