Kroger Update:

Kroeger pharmacies will be added back to the network effective 4/1. Look for a notification from EMI soon.

Elite Network Update:

The EMI Elite Network is now only available for the Aetna network. Any previous quote or sold case that offers the Elite network with Blue Cross network will be honored until the renewal date.

CVS Caremark Formulary:

A change is being made to nine drugs on the CVS caremark Prescription Drug Formulary effective April 1, 2025. This change affects all business administered by Star Marketing and Administration, Inc. that has CVS caremark as their prescription benefit manager.

• Three new drugs are being added.

• Five drugs will move from a Tier 3 to a Tier 2, resulting in a lower cost to the member.

• One drug will move from a Tier 2 to a Tier 3, resulting in a higher cost to the member.

CVS Caremark Formulary Removals:

Effective April 1, 2025, four drugs are being removed from the CVS caremark Prescription Drug Formulary. The excluded medications have an effective equivalent available on the formulary. This change affects all business administered by Star Marketing and Administration, Inc. that has CVS caremark as their prescription benefit manager.
