A major milestone for Christian County: Capital Holding Group is investing more than $29.5 million into a new asphalt plant on its existing Ozark property, creating 29 new jobs with wages above the county average. Children’s Smile Center Breaks Ground in Nixa
We’re proud to share that Children's Smile Center has officially broken ground on its new facility in Nixa. This $3.5 million investment will allow the nonprofit to expand care for children on Medicaid. The new clinic will grow from six to nine operatories and create seven new jobs. Commercial momentum continues as a local development group moves forward with plans for a 26 acre retail development. While tenant announcements are still to be finalized, the project will be a retail destination. Supported by major infrastructure upgrades—like MoDOT’s $30.3 million U.S. 65 widening—this high-visibility site is poised to attract regional visitors and serve growing residential areas.
