MEMBER NEWS

Best of luck to Carolyn Beckie, who moved to NJ to be close to her children. We will miss her greatly! Carolyn has provided incredible service to the Guild and GSO for many years. She held almost every office and position in the Guild, including President in 2006-07, and was a huge help with all its fundraisers. During the last few years, she helped keep the Guild alive by focusing its efforts on its most essential service, feeding the orchestra between rehearsals. Carolyn not only organized the dinners, but she brought food and attended almost all of them…plus sent witty thank-you notes to each team. Her kind and gentle demeanor made it easy to say “yes” when asked to contribute. Thank you Carolyn, and please stay in touch.

The Executive Board and a few others at Carolyn's bon voyage lunch.
