Hunger relief grants available this summer

With spring underway, Carma Mohler Grant season is just around the corner. Established through the generosity of Iowan Carma Mohler, these grants reflect her deep commitment to feeding the hungry and addressing food insecurity across Iowa.

Each year, IUMF invites applications from UM–affiliated groups working to combat hunger—whether through long-term solutions or programs that provide immediate relief. Past grant recipients include food pantries, school backpack programs, and community gardens—all making a meaningful difference in the lives of their neighbors.

Applications for Carma Mohler Grants will be accepted July 1 - October 1. If your church or organization is working to address hunger in Iowa, we encourage you to apply. Be sure to review the criteria on our website so you are ready to apply when the program opens.

1st Quarter performance now posted

The Foundation’s 1st Quarter 2026 fund performance results are now available, and account statements have been sent.

We encourage account holders to take time to review their statements alongside the published figures, as well as the full Quarterly Performance Report for helpful context.

While quarterly updates provide a useful snapshot, we continue to emphasize long-term performance and stewardship. The Foundation remains committed to prudent oversight, diversification, and disciplined investment strategies that support churches and ministries well into the future.
