Easter Weekend 2026!

We’ve created a bit of a tradition in recent years of sharing an Easter impact report—a small glimpse into what God is doing across the Pacific Northwest. And each year, it leaves us overwhelmed with gratitude.

Across 10 churches—8 that have launched since 2023 and 2 more preparing to officially launch later this year—6,055 people gathered for Easter across 21 services. 470 of those people attended the two churches that haven’t even publicly launched yet! It’s a powerful reminder that these new works are already bearing fruit long before their grand openings.

But what stands out most isn’t just how many people show up on Easter—it’s what God is doing in their lives. This Easter, 128 people took the step of baptism, publicly declaring new life in Jesus! There’s nothing more powerful than people experiencing death, burial, and resurrection for themselves—especially on Easter! And already this year, these new churches have celebrated 205 baptisms. Each one representing a story of transformation.

Here are just a few stories from real people whose lives have been changed because of Jesus:

Cavan was baptized this Easter at Counterculture Church in Portland—his story is incredible. Orphaned as a young boy, his life was marked by hardship, and Counterculture was the first church he ever attended. With his non-Christian family present, his wife shared through tears, “This church has changed our marriage.” The next day, Cavan texted, “I’ve never felt this good and at peace in my entire life.” This is why Counterculture Church was planted in 2023.

Luana grew up in Brazil in a non-Christian home facing many medical challenges. For most of her life, something felt missing—until she began learning about Jesus. A few months ago, she connected with the Arévalos in Vancouver, BC and instantly felt at home. Since then, her faith has come alive, her heart has been transformed, and on Easter she made the decision to publicly surrender her life to Jesus in baptism. Freedom Church launches in Kamloops, BC later this year.

Adrina was baptized this Easter at The Cove in Lakewood, WA. After struggling with anxiety and depression, she started to give her life to God because "this church truly saw me and walked with me." Over time, she grew in knowledge of Scripture and becoming sensitive to God's prompting, leading to her baptism—exactly one year after her daughter’s! Today, she holds tightly to the truth that she is chosen and reminds others they are worthy of knowing Jesus. We are so thankful The Cove is in Lakewood!



And friends, these stories don’t happen in isolation. Your partnership is part of every one of them—every conversation, every invitation, every baptism. You are helping create the conditions where life change can happen again and again across our region.
