Mars-Saturn-Neptune Conjunction
Mars conjunct Neptune. April 13, 2026.
Tropical. 2° Aries 39’. Sidereal 8° Pisces 31’. uttarabhadrapadā
Mars conjunct Saturn. April 19, 2026.
Tropical. 7° Aries 51’. Sidereal 13° Pisces 44'. uttarabhadrapadā
Saturn and Neptune formed their exact conjunction on February 20, 2026 at Tropical. 0° Aries 45’. Sidereal. 06° Pisces 37’ in the Nakshatra of uttarabhadrapadā, which is ruled by Saturn, just Mars-Saturn-Neptune are also in this Nakshatra ruled by Saturn. These two came close to exact conjunction already last summer in 2025, but this is the only time they will be exactly conjunct and will not come back, meaning that they are going their separate ways, to an extent, since Saturn travels more quickly than Neptune. These planets will once again be activated this month when Mars forms an exact conjunction with both these planets as shown above. If we use a one degree orb, then Mars will conjoin Neptune from April 11-15 and then conjoin Saturn from April 17-21, so for all intents and purposes Mars will be conjunct Neptune and Saturn between the 11th and 21st, though exact on the days above. Scroll down to see how this affects the world, and affects you.
Mars conjunct Neptune can bring emotions that are not always well-defined, but can include sadness, frustration, and anger. The days around that conjunction can center around a feeling that there may be something brewing in the air, but will not necessarily manifest until we are in the throes of the Mars-Saturn conjunction. If you have a planet, point, or angle, around the degree of the conjunction, do not get alarmed if you have a feeling of not knowing what to do. Don’t make plans, try not to problem solve, or initiate a plan of action since there may be fogginess attached to the mood you are in, and you may notice that the people around you are feeling the same. It is a great time to enjoy yourself, do something physical, exercise your body and let your mind just drift off into meditative and artistic spaces. The Mars-Saturn conjunction takes this feeling to a level of intensity that crescendos, lasts for a few days, and then subsides with a great feeling of relief.
Mars conjunct Saturn. According to Jyotisa, the exact conjunction is also considered to be a graha yuddha (planetary war), which means that as Mars approaches Saturn, it forms a planetary war that begins when they are within a degree apart, and Mars wins once it conjoins on April 19th, and then passes. Anything that gets stalled (Saturn), will move ahead forcefully and quickly (Mars). It could actually be positive since something that has languished will finally move ahead.
That is in part based on the qualities of these two planets as Mars is action and Saturn is stopping that action. The combination is push and pull, and I always remember what the late great astrologer Alan Oken said about Mars-Saturn, that it is like driving or even accelerating with the brakes on. The feeling of anger, frustration, and violence is overwhelming in the world, and can be present in your community, on the highways, and with people losing their tempers. Mars and Saturn when conjunct, square, or opposition often accompanies a major act of violence (Columbine shootings occurred during an exact opposition between those two planets). It also could mean that this is the period when things could reach a tipping point in war-torn areas, even start new wars, and then there could be a solution albeit temporary.
Could it be the emergence of a new virus wreaking havoc? Or could it be an earthquake, flood, fires, shooting, or other act of things being shaken up? A government or leader being toppled? I know this all sounds awful, but the flip side is that as a reaction to this general mood we can all take some deep breaths and not be reactive. It can also give us an enormous feeling of frustration at our present situations and can give us the overwhelming desire to change or improve our situations and apply determination and focus. That is really the positive manifestation of Mars and Saturn, whose influence starts in the next week but you may be feeling this already. Take charge of your life and look around you at the wonderful people who love you and who you love in return. It is a great time to volunteer and help others with whatever extra time you have. Whenever there are difficult aspects in the sky, the flip side is to increase your own sense of thankfulness for whatever positive you have going on in your life.
If you have any planets within a few degrees of the conjunction you will be especially affected in the area represented by the planet, point, or angle being hit by the conjunction. The conjunction will be intense but it too will pass. Scroll down for whichever zodiac you use.
