Welcome Spring and Happy Easter! If you have not sent your 2026 membership please consider joining us. Your support, alone, is what allows us to continue bringing our community much needed commerce creating events such as the UFO Fest, 4th of July Firework Display, Wayne County Outdoor Expo and Ozark Heritage Festival. 4th Annual Piedmont UFO Fest


Planning for the 4th Annual Piedmont UFO Fest is in full swing. April 24-26th will once again turn our small town into a hotbed for UFO lovers near and far. Vendor and food applications are now available at www.visitpiedmontmo.com/piedmontufofest. The event is slated to host a variety of events including expert speakers, eyewitness accounts, food trucks, vendors, parade, a 5k Run/Walk, Art Walk, live chalk art demo and much more. The event this year will include a Sunday portion of expert speakers at the Luna Museum. The parade, previously hosted on Friday night, will now be landing on Saturday night at dark. Saturday will also include an all-ages costume contest on the Greenway as well as a pet walk. So get your tin foil hats ready to join us for an out of this world weekend celebrating our history with UFOs.

Tax Increase Proposal to Support Wayne Co 4-H Programs


The University of MO Wayne County Extension office is asking Wayne County residents to Vote Yes on April 7th in support of 4-H Programs. According to Extension office documents, a pass would mean less than a $2.00/month increase for most

property owners. For more information reach out to the Extension office.


Sam A Baker State Park Celebrates 100 Year Anniversary


2026 marks the 100 year anniversary of Sam A Baker State Park. The park is planning a celebration June 13th to mark the century since it's opening. The event is currently set to include tours and exhibits, music, demonstrations, games and more. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us for this historic celebration.



New Pick Up Volleyball League Starting


A new locally planned Pick-Up Volleyball league is starting today at Rotary Park. The league is free to participate in, open to anyone over 16 and happening every Wednesday evening from 6pm-8pm.
