March 29 is recognized as National Vietnam War Veterans Day, commemorating the courage and dedication of those who served in Vietnam. Project MOVER Rides Back to Croton on April 6!

Project MOVER, the six-municipality bike share program, returns to the Village on April 6.

Funded by NYSERDA, the program launched in Croton on July 9 and went into winter hibernation on December 19. In just over five months of operation, it achieved strong ridership numbers thanks to the enthusiastic support of the Croton community.

Among the 45 hubs across the six participating communities:

  • Croton’s Metro-North hub ranked #5 in total trips
  • The Upper Village hub ranked #15
  • The South Riverside hub ranked #17

Inter-municipal travel is also a key feature of Project MOVER. In this category, Croton ranked #2 overall, with many rides connecting Croton to Ossining and Tarrytown.

Overall, Croton accounted for approximately 14% of all Project MOVER bike trips. You can find more details about 2025 operations by clicking here.
