As April arrives, it brings with it a sense of renewal, energy, and opportunity aligned with the spirit of our local business community. With longer days, warmer weather, and fresh momentum, this is an ideal time for businesses to refocus, reconnect, and grow.
Supporting local businesses doesn’t just boost the economy it reinforces the unique character of each and every town. We encourage residents and fellow members to shop local, dine local, and share their favorite spots with friends and neighbors. Restaurant week in Lisle is April 20th through April 26th, and many towns also have restaurant weeks. This is a great way to keep our restaurants open for business.
For business owners, now is a great time to revisit goals set earlier in the year. Are there partnerships you’ve been meaning to explore? Marketing ideas you’ve been waiting to try? The second quarter is a perfect checkpoint to adjust strategies and take action.
Our chamber remains committed to supporting our members every step of the way. From networking opportunities to promotional support and shared resources, we’re here to help your business thrive. Keep an eye out for upcoming events, workshops, and collaborative initiatives designed to energize and connect our members. Register online www.lislechamber.com to golf or sponsor our Annual Golf Outing on May 12, 2026. Fellow Chamber Member Seven Bridges Golf Club is our host again this year. If you don’t want to golf you can also join us for the dinner portion of the event to network and enjoy a delicious meal.
Let’s make this April a month of progress, positivity, and partnership. Together, we can continue building a vibrant, resilient business community.
Happy Spring!
