The 2026 East Bay Business Expo & Job Fair, hosted by the Brentwood Chamber of Commerce, is a FREE event open to all community members.
This event is an excellent opportunity for businesses looking to expand their customer base, grow their professional network, or find qualified talent.

The 2026 West Contra Costa Career & Resource Fair was held on February 18, at the Hercules Community Center and was a great success. The Workforce Development Board of Contra Costa County (WDBCCC), in partnership with the Bay Front Chamber of Commerce, co-hosted and sponsored the event.
A total of 246 job seekers and community members attended, including 73 pre-registered attendees and 173 walk-ins. There were 40 confirmed exhibitors, including 32 employers and 8 resource providers.

The WDBCCC was proudly represented at the Annual California Workforce Association (CWA) Day at the Capitol by Executive Director Tamia Brown, Youth Program Manager and Grant Manager Noramah Burch, and Administrative Services Assistant III Vincent Manuel.
This important statewide event provides a platform for workforce development leaders to engage directly with Sacramento legislators and their staff, sharing insights on regional initiatives and pressing workforce needs.
Participation in CWA Day at the Capitol reflects the WDB’s ongoing commitment to advancing policies that support workforce innovation, strengthen partnerships, and create greater opportunities for job seekers and employers throughout Contra Costa County and beyond.

Administered by the WDBCCC in partnership with the Workforce Services Bureau, the CCWORKS Subsidized Employment Program helps CalWORKS and Welfare-to-Work participants build clear pathways to employment.
