OUR MISSION:
St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.
FROM THE DESK OF MRS. TIEZZI
Dear St. Rita Parents,

Happy Easter! The celebration of Our Lord’s Resurrection continues in the Church for eight days, called the Octave of Easter. Each day of the Octave is ranked as a Solemnity in the Church’s liturgical calendar. The Octave of Easter ends on the Second Sunday of Easter, the Sunday of Divine Mercy. In the Jubilee Year 2000, at the Mass in which he canonized the humble religious Sister Faustina Kowalska, Blessed John Paul II declared that from then on throughout the Church, the Second Sunday of Easter would also be called the Sunday of Divine Mercy. This Sunday, April 28, 2019 we will celebrate Divine Mercy Sunday. We hope you will join us for the procession and devotions. The procession begins at the St. Stephen’s campus at 2:00 P.M.

Thank you to everyone who has sent in their re-registration packet. Now is the time we start planning for staffing, classes, materials and programming for the upcoming school year. Please be advised that the Smart Financial Aid portal will open on May 1. In order to apply for financial aid your Smart tuition account must be current and you must have already submitted your re-registration paperwork and fee. As financial aid monies are limited, funds will be distributed on a first come first serve basis until the money is depleted. If you have not yet re-registered for next year, please do so this month so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to apply for financial assistance.

This is the last week for buying your Tuition Raffle tickets.  You have until Saturday, April 27 at 7:00 P.M. to purchase your tickets for the $10,000 tuition drawing. The winning ticket will be drawn during intermission of our school play. The winner will be notified immediately after the drawing. Thank you for your support.
I’m looking forward to seeing you all at our school play, Peter Pan Jr. this weekend. Tickets are still available to purchase. Please see our school website for the link. In the meantime, enjoy this beautiful sunny Spring weather.
 Have a wonderful Easter season!

God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi

HAMDEN TOWN GREEN

So far we have sold 183 tickets, and only 47 families have participated in selling tickets.
WE NEED YOUR HELP!
If every family buys or SELLS 2 tickets that would be over 600 tickets sold, our goal is 450, the more money we can raise through the tuition raffle the less fundraisers we have to have in the future!

Please help us
spread the word!

$10,000 TUITION RAFFLE!

Prize $$ can be used for any accredited
K-12 school, college or university in the U.S.

The winner has up to 4 years to choose a school and student and apply
the $10,000 prize, and it does not have to all be spent in one year.
Prize can be used towards tuition, room and board or books –
even pay back existing student loans!

Drawing will be held April 27th 2019

Please make every effort to sell as many tickets as possible; this raffle is open to
the public and not restricted to St. Rita School families, so sell to family, Friends,
coworkers....

A great way to sell more tickets is to
post about our raffle on your social media accounts
Only 800 tickets will be sold at $50 per ticket –
great odds to be a WINNER!

A minimum of 450 tickets must be sold or all
tickets will be refunded.

All 800 tickets sold = $30,000 for SRS!
(Just think, less fundraisers next year!)
All proceeds will benefit the SRS general fund.

There is a difference between the cost of tuition and the actual cost to educate our
children, without fundraisers like this, the price of tuition would go up.

We truly need your support!
