Community eNews | April 26, 2026 | | We had such an amazing time at our last rally of the year, the Battle of the Boldest Rally! More photos to come soon; watch our video from the rally while you wait. Special thanks to MarCom Intern Sydney Y. ’26 for taking photos, and congratulations to the Class of 2029 on their win! | | A Message from the Campus Minister for Community Service & Social Advocacy: | |
Dear Carondelet Community,
As we approach the end of this month, we enter a celebratory time of year! This week kicks off end-of-year celebrations for our school community.
On Wednesday, we will recognize students committed to service at our Service and Advocacy Prayer Service. In our liturgy, we celebrate our charism of unifying love, which calls us to love our dear neighbor and God without distinction. Students who participated in Ven a Ver experience this year will share stories from their immersion experiences, and we will honor students who have received service awards. Through our prayer service, we ask that God continues to open our hearts to acts of service and work for advocacy in our world.
Immediately following the prayer service, the Service and Advocacy Fair will feature local nonprofit organizations providing information on volunteer opportunities. Although volunteer hours are not a graduation requirement, many students are actively engaged in service; last year, students completed over 13,000 hours of service. This lunchtime fair will be an opportunity for students to learn how they can serve the dear neighbor in their local community.
On Wednesday evening, we will have Awards Night, in which students are celebrated for their dedication and enthusiasm towards academics, athletics, and student life. We will also have STEAM Night, which will feature scientific research project presentations and showcase student artwork from the Scientific Illustration class. On Friday, we will honor our seniors through the Senior Assembly, the first of many senior celebrations.
In the midst of this Easter season, Jesus’s resurrection reminds us that there are always opportunities to celebrate the good news in our lives. I hope you find a moment this week to celebrate big and small joys with your family.
Peace and every Good,
Vanessa Miranda, M.Div
Campus Minister for Community Service & Social Advocacy

Attendance Update
As we enter into the last weeks of the semester, we want to remind students and families of the importance of regular school attendance and proactive communication with our Attendance Office. Attendance is required during finals week and critical for closing out the semester. If your student will be missing finals, for any reason, please reach out to Nicole Ebert in Attendance as soon as possible.

Progress Reports Will Be Released on Monday, April 27
While these are not final grades, they offer an important snapshot of how things are going right now. This particular report carries added weight: it’s the last one families will receive before finals. As we head into the final stretch of the year, this is a key moment to review progress, address any concerns, and make a plan for a strong finish to the school year.

Student Parking Updates
Our campus parking lot is currently at capacity, and visitor parking is not available for student use.
Shadelands Parking
Students who regularly park off campus on North Wiget Lane are advised that the property manager has begun enforcing parking restrictions in nearby business lots. Vehicles parked in these lots may be subject to ticketing and towing. Students should park only in designated, legal street parking spaces along North Wiget Lane and avoid parking in any business lots.
