Message from President Billie Araiza
Greetings!

I hope all of you will be attending the 45th Annual SNR Conference this weekend. It's this Friday through Sunday, April 30 - May 2nd. If you haven't signed up yet, there is still time. Look for the link in this e-blast. Since it's online, it's free this year! I would like to encourage all of you to attend the Celebration of Life on Sunday. Our dearly departed, Bev will be honored during this year's event. We will also be hearing from Alexa from the North Valley Community Foundation. She will be honored on Sunday, as well. SI Chico awarded Alexa the Ruby Award and then she was recognized as the SNR Ruby Award winner. It's fabulous to see Alexa recognized for all the wonderful things she has accomplished.

Thank you, Rosie, for the wonderful Live Your Dream Awards presentation last Wednesday. It was such a joy to see and hear from this year's award winners. We really are helping to make dreams come true. I'm super excited, Linda Allen has offered to take over the Live Your Dream Awards for next year.  Rosie has done a wonderful job overseeing the program for our club over the last few years. I'm sure she is happy to pass the torch to Linda. I also want to thank Kim for running the slides for the awards presentation.

I'm looking forward to spending time with all of you at Merlo Park, for our end-of-the-year SI Chico celebration, on May 16, 2020. There will be a SurveyMonkey coming soon. Please be sure to fill out the survey, so we will have an idea of how many members will be able to attend the event. It will be so fun to see all of you in person. It's been a year since most of us have seen each other in person. It's time to spend a little quality time together celebrating the end of a very unusual club year.

This is the 4th Wednesday of the month, so there isn't a club meeting this week. Although, several of the committees meet this Wednesday, so be sure to log in and support your fellow committee members if your committee is having a meeting.

With Gratitude,

President Billie
