A Message from the Director of Student Activities:

Dear Carondelet Community,

After our rally on Friday, I couldn’t help but feel immense gratitude for our incredible school community. Whether it was each class screaming their roll call at the top of their lungs or the faculty and staff lighting up the dance floor, the energy was undeniable—you could feel the Sisterhood in the air. After a spirit week like Battle of the Boldest, one might think we’d take a breather, but as we all know… the fun never stops at Carondelet!

This upcoming week is especially meaningful as we find ourselves at a beautiful crossroads—welcoming the future and honoring the past. On Thursday, we’ll welcome the Class of 2029 for their first official experience as Cougars, introducing them to the heart and spirit of our community. There’s something magical about seeing new families walk onto campus for the first time, full of hope, excitement, and endless potential.

On Wednesday, our community comes together for Service and Social Advocacy Day. Students will share reflections from their transformative Ven a Ver immersion experiences, we’ll honor changemakers with various service awards, and a lunchtime fair will showcase service opportunities. That evening, we’ll host our Annual Awards Assembly—a special celebration that honors students from all grade levels for their exceptional commitment to academics, campus ministry, leadership, and athletics. This meaningful evening highlights the many ways our students shine and serve across our community.

And on Friday, we shift our focus to the Class of 2025 as they begin their final celebrations. The day begins with our beloved Senior Assembly and Luncheon, a student-only event where we recognize seniors who have made a lasting impact through service, leadership, arts, athletics, and more. From there, seniors will head to their luncheon, where they’ll be officially inducted into the Alumnae Association. The day ends with the Senior Send-Off, a joint event with DLS that celebrates their journey and the memories they've made together. It’s a week full of joy, reflection, and so much heart—and we are so proud to walk through it all together.

Dress Uniform Reminders

Here is a quick reminder and a bit of clarification, as we’ve seen some confusion around Dress Uniform expectations this year.

For Dress Uniform days, students are expected to wear:

  • White polo shirt with a navy sweater or blazer (both are required)
  • Dennis or Lands' End skirt, or black or khaki pants (blue jeans are not part of the Dress Uniform)

The sweater or blazer should be worn over the white polo to meet the full Dress Uniform standard.

Morning Drop-Off Procedure

For the safety and efficiency of our parking lot, please use the designated drop-off zone only (behind the Chapel). If you or your student need additional time and space, please utilize the Visitor parking area. Pulling into the covered garage or numbered parking spaces is not allowed and disrupts the flow of traffic. Thank you for your cooperation!

Reminder to Renew Your Student's Contract

Contracts Due Thursday

Contracts for returning students are due Thursday, May 1. If you are returning, you should have received an email regarding re-enrollment. If you did not, please reach out to Director of Enrollment & Engagement Lesley Schooler ’96 via email.
