More Than Nets -1st Sunday Mission Offering, May 6
We have worked with Virginia Baptists to provide mosquito nets for use by the Ghana Baptist Convention. Through providing nets they also plant churches. Our goal is 100,000 nets; so far Virginia Baptists have provided 85,000. A net costs $10, and we’re going to use our first Sunday offering NEXT Sunday to go to “More than Nets.” Please pray for this project.
Renovation/CDC Expansion
The work is underway! Click here for the details of what we are doing. We appreciate your patience over the next 4 months as we deal with the "disruption of construction." The 2nd-3rd floor entrances to the 1954 building are now out of use. We will let you know as other disruptions happen. Continue to pray for this project and the expanded mission of our Child Development Center.
The Prayer Room is Open
Praying in expectation for God to move within us has become a theme of the Hopeful Imagination group.
We encourage you to use the new prayer room to pray in expectation for the redemptive and restorative work of God in the life of our church and community. You are welcome to use the prayer room at any time, use the guides provided and pick up information about forming triplets. “Seek the peace of the city. . .and pray to the Lord on it’s behalf.” Jer 29:7. We are forming prayer triplets (praying in groups of 3's), if you would like more information, contact the office.
