  • The new NYSCATE Website and database are up and running! We are working through some details and will continue to but we are up and running and open for business! When you have moment, please log in to your account, selected 'forgot password' and reset your password on the new system. Explore the site and feel free to email me any comments or suggestions!


  • Do you have any field days coming up or any school events? We have a large number of T-shirts we are looking to get off of inventory. Please send me an email at adelcorvo@nyscate.org with a ship-to address as well as a list of sizes. We have adult sizes available.


  • This is budget time for all of us! Please keep NYSCATE in mind as we offer so many services including live PD events, online courses, grant services, regional and statewide conferences. A big venture for us this coming year is a 3-day PBL Conference in NYC! Great ideas from our members so be sure you come out and join us!!

How to Advocate For Your School With Tariffs

Many schools are struggling with the implementation of tariffs and how to plan appropriately in an uncertain time. In this webinar, Damian Scarfo, CEO, and Brian Beedenbender, V.P. of Sales from Teq will share what they are hearing from suppliers and share a list of suggestions for schools to advocate for themselves with vendors. This webinar will include a brief discussion of the current state of tariffs on educational products, questions to ask vendors when you are requesting pricing, and a Q&A period.
