Understanding Solicitations and Preparing Proposals is a seven hour workshop designed to help the prospective government contractor be more competitive, and position themselves to win a federal contract.
Presenting the workshop is Dr. James N. Phillips Jr., a former Contracting Officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense. Phillips has 25+ years of experience in contracting and is the author of over 30 articles and two books on contracting, one of which is the basis for this workshop.
In this workshop, participants will gain a greater understanding of their competitive advantage, learn how to read and comprehend a government solicitation, and be able to frame this into a proposal worthy of submission. The workshop includes exercises and opportunities for attendee participation.
