Students are participating in a reading competition in their classrooms this week. Those that read the specified number of minutes every day will be entered in a drawing. Two winners will be selected at the end of the week to receive either a boy's or girl's bike.
FAMILY REFERRAL OFFER
One of the best resources for helping to fill our school with students is YOU. YOU can spread the word about what makes MCS such an outstanding choice! We are bringing back the Family Referral Program! Take advantage of this opportunity to receive a tuition credit for each new family you bring to Monroe Christian School!
Referring families will receive a $500 tuition credit (2019-20 school year) for K-8th grade students or a $250 tuition credit for Preschool and Pre-K referrals. New families that have been referred will receive free registration for the upcoming school year.
A letter and referral cards were sent home to families the week before Easter. More referral cards are available in the school office.
TOUCH-A-TRUCK
Don't forget to save the date! Touch-A-Truck will take place at MCS on June 1st from 10 am - 2 pm. Please contact Riley and Meg if you are willing to volunteer for this event or know of any vehicles, attractions, or businesses that might be interested in participating.
Coffee & Conversation will take place this Wednesday, May 1st, at 8:30 in the library.
Monroe Christian School Society Meeting
Monroe Christian School's annual business (society) meeting will be Tuesday, May 21, at 7:00 p.m. at New Hope Fellowship. This is a time for parents to hear updates, meet and vote on Board member nominees, and review next year's budget. See the attached explanation about the MCS society and how to be a part (hint: as a parent, you just show up to the meeting!).
