APRIL 29 UPDATE FROM WENONAH
As we write this email to you, we are so excited this week to be opening our site in Muskoka for the 2021 season. This is always a special time of the year, and we are so pleased a small group of staff are currently doing essential work onsite through May and into June to prepare for the Summer Camp season. Meanwhile, next week, our Spring staff begin remote work at home to further develop and enhance programs, training, and many fun surprises that we are planning for Summer Camp 2021. We can't wait to share more with you soon!

There is no doubt that the past few weeks have been challenging for everyone in Ontario. For many families, the current stay-at-home order has once again changed how your children are learning and how you are working. We know this is a difficult and stressful time for families, and we are thinking of you.

But, there are signs of brighter days ahead. In Ontario, the 7-day average of case counts is beginning to decrease, and each day sees more and more people receive their COVID-19 vaccine. We are heartened by the public health authorities who have suggested that current modelling gives them hope for the situation to be better for the Summer. We think all of this gives us good reason to look forward to a special season at Wenonah!

You may remember from previous emails that we have shared that the office of the Chief Medical Officer of Health (CMOH) for the Province of Ontario is working on guidance that will give direction for how overnight camps in Ontario will operate this year. While we hoped to have that guidance in hand by now it is not quite yet ready, but we do anticipate it will be available to us shortly. That guidance will inform many of the protocols we will have in place at Wenonah this Summer.
NEW! Final Fees Due by June 4

Some families have asked about a further extension of the payment deadline. While Summer Camp fees were originally due on April 1, for those families who would like more time to pay their fees we are happy to extend that payment date to Friday, June 4.

We will also extend our cancellation deadline to Friday, June 4.

The refund policy we shared previously has been updated to reflect this new cancellation deadline. If you decide to cancel your registration by June 4, we will refund your full fees less a $200/week cancellation fee.

Payments can be made by:
International families are welcome to contact us about other payment methods.

Also, keep an eye out for lots of other news to come from Camp! As we mark our 25th anniversary season, we are really excited to share our new #25For25 campaign. We are introducing 25 brand new things at Wenonah this Summer, which we know will provide even more great moments on the shores of Clear Lake and Saw Lake this year and for many years to come. We will reveal many of these on Instagram and Facebook throughout May and June.

Lastly, while we are busy planning for the 2021 Summer Camp season, we are also hard at work with initial plans for the 2022 season as well. Look out for Summer 2022 dates and details to be released in the coming months.

As always, our team is standing by to answer any questions you may have. Please reach out via email and we will be in touch as soon as possible.

We look forward to a VERY special season at Wenonah!
