May 15, 2021: iNaturalist training. Learn to identify various plant species with the iNaturalist App! 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM MST at Pete’s Pond.
May 16, 2021: Community Stewardship Project: Trail Clearing in Whiskey Basin; meet at Trail Lake Road wildlife-viewing kiosk

Dubois Family Dollar is currently looking for a full-time Salaried Store Manager and 2 full-time hourly Assistant Managers.  Assistant Managers are 14.50 an hour and between 35 and 40 hours per week.
These are demanding positions with long hours and mental as well as physical work...SM and ASMs are expected to manage the building as well as deliver exceptional customer service.   Trucks are unloaded and stocked weekly as well as everyday cleaning and straightening of the store. You will be managing up to 5 people total and are required to wtite schedules, maintain your payroll budget and adhere to all company policies

The time has finally come for Wyoming’s second largest industry to receive our COVID-19 vaccinations! All 23 counties are now vaccinating hospitality and tourism industry employees. This includes ALL sectors of our industry. Restaurant, Lodging, Convention and Visitors Bureau’s, Chambers of Commerce, Visitor Centers, Rafting and other recreation, Outfitters and Guides, etc. Our time is now!

Advance bookings for this summer indicate a strong season ahead and we need a healthy, strong workforce available to help our industry rebound from 2020.

Please find some helpful information below about where to get vaccinated in your county and also how to obtain COVID testing supplies to make sure that you and your staff remain healthy and safe.

Open Summer Projects – Due April 30, 2021
The sky is the limit for this grant cycle. Through community engagement, any placemaking project is eligible to apply for up to $2500. Projects require a 10% match.

Fall/Winter Grants – Due September 30, 2021
This exciting grant will start off with a Winter Placemaking Zoom Training with Main Street America in August. The WBC will also offer a “How to” guide with ideas and cost estimates. Watch for more details!

Elements to include in the project: Projects that can be extended year-round, block wind, capture sunshine, color, lighting, seating, heat, and programming. A 10% match is required. More information available in early summer. The following grants amounts are available: $10,000; $5,000; $2,000 and $1,000. Grants are limited and are competitive.
Register To Be a Retailer On The NEW Shop Wyoming Platform
As part of our expanding services within the CARES Act Recovery Program, the Wyoming SBDC Network has created a one-stop e-commerce site for the Wyoming entrepreneurs, called Shop Wyoming. This site allows customers to shop and check out from multiple Wyoming grown businesses at once and will give you an opportunity to reach new and existing customers on a local and national scale all within one unique, state-centric platform.

There is no cost to participate and we provide in-depth training on how it all works upon registration.
