• Johns Hopkins and the University of Maryland are jointly and rapidly working to develop a Alternative Care Site (ACS) at the Baltimore Convention Center for post-acute treatment for COVID-19 patients. Physicians and advanced practitioners are being actively recruited to staff this facility.

• The American Medical Association will hold a National Physician Town Hall on Thursday, April 9 at 2:00 p.m. EST. Attendance is limited so early registration is recommended.

• Many federal and state business assistance programs are being implemented, and MedChi and our component medical societies are here to help you navigate them. Please take this very brief survey, and let us know how we can help. We will begin reaching out on Monday to respondents who request assistance, but please respond to me directly if urgent help is needed.
