Next week we celebrate Teacher Appreciation and Nurse’s Appreciation Week. All our teachers and staff, as well as Mrs. Palma, work hard every day to ensure that your child/ren receives the best education possible here at St. Rita. It would be nice to have your son/daughter write a simple note of thanks and appreciation to those faculty members who do so much for them.

Just a reminder that the SMART Aid portal for the 2019-2020 school year will open tomorrow, May 1, 2019 and will remain available through July 15, 2019. Financial assistance is guaranteed for one school year only. Each year families are required to reapply for financial assistance based on their current employment and economic status. It is important to note that family aid is reviewed on a first come first served basis. Instructions on how to access the portal were sent out via email on Monday and are available on our webpage.

Grandparent’s Day is scheduled for this Friday beginning with Mass at 8:45 at church. At the end of Mass we will have the May Crowning and then present the April awards. Following Mass the children and their grandparents will return to the school where grandparents can visit the classroom. Please remember we do not have elevator access to our second floor to assist grandparents with limited mobility. If you haven’t sent the R.S.V.P. to Grandparents Day please do so by Thursday.

Thank you for entrusting your child/ren to our care. Have a great week.

God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi
