Recovery Preparedness

The Illinois Emergency Management Agency's (IEMA) monthly preparedness theme for April is recovery preparedness. According to Alicia Tate-Nadeau, Acting Director of IEMA, “Building a culture of preparedness today, provides the priceless peace of mind that is needed as you begin the daunting task of rebuilding following a disaster.” For K-12 schools and institutions of higher education, one place to outline recovery preparedness is in their Emergency Operations Plans (EOP).
