Shelter in Place Schedule Update
The California Department of Education recently made a public statement advising that students should not expect to return to schools this academic year and should plan on continuing online learning through the remainder of this school year. At this time there has been no definitive new guidance provided and as such, we continue to monitor the situation in conjunction with De La Salle as we work with Contra Costa Health.

We currently have a return to campus date set for May 4. When we return from Easter Break we hope to have more information to assess the situation, and we will plan accordingly and communicate with you at that time.

We did get news that unfortunately the California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) announced that spring Section, Regional, and State Championship events have been canceled. If you would like more information, please read their statement . We understand that this is a huge disappointment for our spring student/athletes.

Please know that we continue to plan for all schedule contingencies, including exploring numerous options for our end of year and senior class celebrations.
Good Friday
Virtual Liturgy
All are invited to participate in an online liturgy created by Carondelet students on Good Friday with full Stations of the Cross. We look forward to joining our hearts with yours in prayer during these uncertain, yet holiest of days.

We’re excited to share that  our next evening speaker is futurist Jody Medich —who will share her insights on how emerging technologies have the potential to turn us all into superhumans. Since we can’t all be together in person,  we’ve arranged to bring Jody to your living room via a live, online webinar.  The webinar starts at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 21, and we will wrap-up Q&A by 8:30 PM.

Jody’s presentation could not be more timely. As we spend more time at home, technology is helping us stay connected, supporting new ways to work and learn, and allowing us to share our creativity. It’s fascinating to imagine how artificial intelligence, robots, virtual reality, and other new technologies can help us be better prepared for future challenges like this—giving us the very real potential to be superhumans.

Join us for an engaging presentation and conversation.

Parking Permits for 2020-21

We will be releasing information on 2020-21 parking permits after the spring break.

On-campus parking is a privilege for many of our juniors and seniors. For the 2020-21 school year, we will be giving priority to our senior students with carpools, followed in order by single-rider seniors, juniors with carpools, and single-rider juniors. This system is in place so that we can accommodate as many students as possible in our parking lot.

Please note that we will not be able to accommodate all of our driving students.
