Arrowsmith Brewing Company is Opening!

Opening weekend is upon us - Saturday April 8th 11-9 and Sunday April 9th 11:30-7.

Anyone stopping in the first week can enter their name to a draw for a bike. We have 2 bikes to draw for, one is a mountain bike from Arrowsmith Mountain cycle in Parksville and the other is a Growler Bike from Lochside Bikes in Victoria.

Stop by and show our own craft brewery some love!

The Qualicum Beach Family History Society will hold its regular Meeting on Wednesday April 19, 7pm at the Qualicum Legion. Guest Speaker will be Brenda L. Smith speaking on tracking Robert Souter - a case study in finding a Scottish Canadian Settler. Guests Welcome.

The Qualicum Beach Garden Club

Tuesday April 11th 2017 in the Qualicum Beach Civic Centre - 740 Jones Street . The doors open at 7 pm for a socialization opportunity and the presentation starts at 7:30 pm. The meeting will be an Expert Gardening Panel, who will answer questions from the audience and provide advice on gardening in the Oceanside area of Vancouver Island.

The panel consists of:

David Rowe: expertise in tropical houseplants and bonsai

Brandy Miceli: expertise in landscape design and plant selection

Diane Sharp: expertise in kitchen gardens (and winter vegetables)

Kay Howard: Master Gardener with many years of expertise

Bring your questions to this meeting!

The membership fee is $15 pa, the drop in fee is $3.
