PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Principal Disch
Congratulations to the 4th graders for completing the STAAR writing exam today. Even though it’s been a crazy year, I know they did well and appreciate all the work the teachers and students put in to prepare. We are finalizing the plans for the other STAAR exams in May and will share that information early next week.

The Sixth 6-weeks commitment field in HISD Connect will be open and available starting on Monday, April 12th. Either sign in to Parent Connect to make an adjustment or the Fifth 6-weeks data will roll over on Thursday, April 22nd.

Don’t forget that the next distribution for our virtual learners is this THURSDAY, April 8th, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. If you can’t make that window, the bags will be in the main office.

Have a fantastic week!

Last week, the PTO and the school worked together to plan a special send-off for Ms. Tomica Fontelroy-Linzer. A big thank you to our school community that participated in the drive-thru celebration.

The PTO made a special banner for Ms. Tomica. We also gave her a framed caricature, along with flowers & lunch on her last day at WUES. She definitely will be missed by our WUES families. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.
