St. Rita School inspires students in Pre-Kindergarten through grade eight to achieve academic excellence in a safe, nurturing and faith-filled Catholic environment.
We prepare students to be morally responsible, innovative thinkers who, in today’s technology-guided global community, live and share the Love of Christ.

Dear St. Rita School Parents,

Thank you to everyone who has sent in their re-registration packet. Now is the time we start planning for staffing, classes, materials and programming for the upcoming school year. Please be advised that the Smart Financial Aid portal will open on May 1. In order to apply for financial aid your Smart tuition account must be current and you must have already submitted your re-registration paperwork and fee. As financial aid monies are limited, funds will be distributed on a first come first serve basis until the money is depleted. If you have not yet re-registered for next year, please do so this month so you don’t miss out on the opportunity to apply for financial assistance.

Just a reminder that our $10,000 tuition raffle drawing will take place on April 27, 2019 at 8:00 P.M. during the intermission of Peter Pan Jr. If you have not yet purchased a ticket please do so. The prize can be used for tuition at any elementary or secondary school or college. The $10,000 may also be used to pay off college loans. Please share this opportunity with your friends and relatives who have children of any age.

Barring any unforeseen circumstances our last day of school for the current school year will be on Monday, June 10 with a 12:15 P.M. dismissal. Our final school-wide Mass is on Friday, June 7 at 8:45 A.M.  Graduation for the Class of 2019 will take place on Sunday, June 2 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Rita Church. PreK4 celebration is scheduled for Wednesday, June 5 at 9:00 A.M. and the Kindergarten Celebration is scheduled for Thursday, June 6 at 9:00 A.M. Summer Camp will open on Monday, June 17.

This coming Sunday we will celebrate Palm Sunday marking Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem and the beginning of Holy Week.  Holy Week is most definitely a very sacred time of the year, for it is how we commemorate and remember the last week of Jesus' life on this earth.  These are the days leading up to the great Easter Feast. Please take some time next week to take your children to the beautiful and sacred liturgies of Holy Week and Easter.  On behalf of the St. Rita School faculty and staff, I wish you and your family a very holy and blessed Easter.
God Bless,
Mrs. Tiezzi

Lenten Works of Mercy Tree
We hope your Lenten journey is going well! We are excited to invite you all to help us with our Lenten Works of Mercy Tree this Lent. As we get closer to Easter and Divine Mercy Sunday, our parish feast day, we would like to encourage you to practice the Spiritual and Corporal Works of Mercy (which can be found on the back of your passports). There will be an empty tree at each church with baskets of tags in front. Please take a tag and write the ways you have shown mercy to others, and then put the completed tag in the 'completed tag' basket. When Easter arrives, the empty tree will be in 'full bloom' with all of the great things our parish has done. We look forward to taking this Lenten journey together as we help others in need.

So far we have sold 121 tickets, and only 43 families have participated in selling tickets.
If every family buys or SELLS 2 tickets that would be over 600 tickets sold, our goal is 450, the more money we can raise through the tuition raffle the less fundraisers we have to have in the future!

Please help us
spread the word!

Prize $$ can be used for any accredited
K-12 school, college or university in the U.S.

The winner has up to 4 years to choose a school and student and apply
the $10,000 prize, and it does not have to all be spent in one year.
Prize can be used towards tuition, room and board or books –
even pay back existing student loans!

Drawing will be held April 27th 2019

Please make every effort to sell as many tickets as possible; this raffle is open to
the public and not restricted to St. Rita School families, so sell to family, Friends,

A great way to sell more tickets is to
post about our raffle on your social media accounts
Only 800 tickets will be sold at $50 per ticket –
great odds to be a WINNER!

A minimum of 450 tickets must be sold or all
tickets will be refunded.

All 800 tickets sold = $30,000 for SRS!
(Just think, less fundraisers next year!)
All proceeds will benefit the SRS general fund.

There is a difference between the cost of tuition and the actual cost to educate our
children, without fundraisers like this, the price of tuition would go up.

We truly need your support!
