Students are Returning to Campus - Drive Safe!
|

With school campuses re-opening this month, traffic congestion will rise. This means school buses are picking up their passengers, kids on bikes are hurrying to get to school before the bell rings, parents are trying to drop their kids off before work.
It's never more important for drivers to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present – before and after school, and especially since kids will be coming and going at different times on different days with hybrid learning.
Here are some important tips from our partners at Redwood City Together to keep in mind for our community to practice healthy and safe transportation practices.

Learn about the many financial assistance programs available to income-qualifying consumers, including the Clean Cars for All grant, Clean Vehicle Assistance grant, and county-specific programs. Afterwards, receive one-on-one consultations for help completing your application. This event will focus on rebate programs available to Northern California residents.
Note: To income-qualify, you must make no more than 300% - 400% of the Federal Poverty Level. For example, a single individual must make less than $51,000 and a family of four must make less than $105,000.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
