Cruise News
Several major cruise lines have recently opened bookings for the 2028 season, with a few ultra-luxury and niche lines extending even into 2029. Most standard 2028–2029 itineraries are expected to be released in waves throughout 2026.
Currently Open for 2028 & 2029
- Viking Cruises: Has officially opened bookings for 2029 departure dates on its India river voyages. This includes the 15-day Wonders of India itinerary on the Viking Ganges and Viking Brahmaputra.
- Princess Cruises: Bookings are live for the 2028 World Cruise aboard the Coral Princess, a 115-day journey departing January 3, 2028. Some Caribbean and Alaska sailings for early 2028 are also appearing in search results.
- Celebrity Cruises: Recently opened its 2028 Galapagos expeditions aboard the Celebrity Flora. This includes over 50 all-inclusive sailings for the 2028 season.
- Royal Caribbean: Itineraries are currently available through April 2028 for the Caribbean, Northeast, and California. Further 2028–2029 releases for Australia and Singapore were scheduled for rollout in March 2026.
- Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL): Has released its winter 2027–2028 deployment, with over 370 sailings available through April 2028.
- Holland America Line: Bookings are open for its 2027–2028 Legendary Voyages and West Coast seasons, including Hawaii, Mexico, and Panama Canal sailings through early 2028.

Norwegian Luna Sets Sail
Norwegian Cruise Line has officially debuted its newest ship, Norwegian Luna, which arrived in Miami on March 23, 2026, following a transatlantic voyage from Rome. As the second Prima Plus-class vessel, it features the innovative Aqua Slidecoaster, expanded kids' areas, and various themed dining, offering Caribbean itineraries starting in April 2026.

United Airlines Relax Row
The United Relax Row is a newly announced seating option that allows a row of three economy seats to convert into a flat, couch-like surface for sleeping or lounging. Announced in March 2026, it is scheduled to debut in 2027 on select international long-haul flights. Pricing has not yet been announced.
Worldwide Security Caution
On March 22, 2026, the U.S. Department of State issued a "Worldwide Caution" advising Americans to exercise increased caution due to potential threats against U.S. interests abroad. This alert specifically highlights risks in the Middle East following recent regional escalations.
