Thank you to everyone who made this year's Swinging Soiree a success. We were able to raise money to support KAM and our mission, and in addition to that, we had some firebreathers, aerial acrobats and swing dancers out. Our VIP Speakeasy was held on our KC-135 in a unique one-of-a-kind experience. Make plans to be out at our 2023 event! You don't want to miss it.

Little Aviators 2022

One of the most exciting programs we offer is our Little Aviators Program. Aimed at bringing kids to the museum to get hands on experience with the history of Kansas aviation, and every Friday allows us that opportunity.

Thanks to our partners, The Mattress Hub, we are able to offer this program free to all kids 12 and under, as well as a free admission for one adult per household and 50% off from additional adults.

Little Aviators is held every Friday from 10a-12p. Come out and enjoy a day at KAM.

Senior Thursday Series

It was a great honor to welcome back to Kansas, United States Space Force Col. NASA Astronaut Nick Hague.

Col. Hague spent over 200 days aboard the International Space Station in 2019 where he did nearly 20 hours of space walks. Watch his interview today here.

"Lovers of air travel find it exhilarating to hang poised between the illusion of immortality and the fact of death." - Alexander Chase

One of the exciting parts of spring is the rain that comes and the new life it brings. We've had quite a few days of moisture, whether snow or rain, lately, and KAM is starting to see signs of new life again. If you haven't been out to KAM this year, you need to visit. We are excited to see the multitude of changes taking place. As our roof restoration project finishes up in the next few weeks, we are excited about opening the Women of Aviation exhibit on our 3rd floor by the end of spring.

We have added some new KAM merchandise in our gift shop specifically for our younger aviator fans, as well as some timeless items for all ages. Come visit us soon!

Sincerely,

Ben Sauceda
