Bringing Paws Together
Building the best future for animals and their families
By now it is likely that you've heard about the Bringing Paws Together campaign that Animal Friends Alliance launched on March 24. You may even have the yard sign displayed proudly on your property to help spread the word. This campaign will bring so many improvements to the lives of the people and animals we help.

Homeless cats like KC, the kitty featured in the video above, are just one example of the lives that will be positively impacted by Bringing Paws Together. Eleven cat colony rooms in the new building will allow cats to escape individual cages. Social kitties can mingle with others or, for kitties who prefer less feline interaction like KC, they can have their own safe space. This freedom allows them to showcase their fuzzy, lovable selves to their potential new families. More kitties finding homes means more lives saved!

We invite you to join us in our next step! You can be part of our campaign by donating though our website, texting BPTgive to 50155,or making a pledge. Contact our Director of Philanthropy, Megan Streetman, to discuss how you can leave your mark and make a gift that will benefit cats, dogs, and people for years to come.

Bringing Paws Together will transform the Taft Hill campus into a new community space where animals and their soon-to-be families are united.
Meet KC!
As the breakout star of the short video above, KC is ready to give up show business for a new home.

KC is a sweet, seven-year-old girl who prefers the company of people over the company of other cats. This show-stopper is a curious and social calico who is ready to find her people.

KITTEN SHOWER IS A SUCCESS!
Thank you for the overwhelming show of support for our 2021 Kitten Shower supply drive. Oodles of supplies were generously donated from our wishlists. We also received some big donations of much-needed equipment.

We are lucky to be entering kitten season with three new microchip scanners, a serum freezer to store lifesaving serum for kittens in need, and many urgently-needed supplies. Thank you to all who donated for giving these little kitties their best chance at living a healthy, happy life!
We want to hear your thoughts!
Later this week you may see a survey from us in your inbox. This is a general survey for our entire donor base to give us an idea of how we can improve our donors' experiences. You'll receive an email with a link to a Google form that contains the survey.

All questions are optional, and we will not collect any personal information from you (unless you provide any). Any and all feedback is appreciated, so please be sure to complete the survey once you receive it. Thank you!
Gala for Animals Silent Auction
Ground control to animal fans. We are excited to launch Gala for Animals: Paws In Space, on July 24!

To make this event a star-studded evening we need your help! We are looking for out-of-this-world silent auction items to tempt and delight our 2021 attendees. Our silent auction is a crowd pleaser and raises needed funds for the animals.

If you have items to donate, or are interested in working with local businesses to solicit donations on our behalf, please email Amanda for more details.
2021 Membership Drive in May
This May, help Animal Friends Alliance save even more animals by becoming a member of our Animal Advocate Club. Your membership gets us closer to our goal of 30 new or upgraded members in the month of May.

For as little as $5 per month, AAC members create sustainable change for animals in need. Or, gift an annual junior membership for advocates age 12 and under!

See which level fits you best or level up as a current AAC member and make an even bigger impact!
Happy Tails
Belfast, now Leo
Belfast, now Leo, was one of five littermates that came to our shelter with their mother. Leo and his entire furry family recovered from ringworm and have all found new homes! Leo's new family tells us:

"Leo is settling in nicely with our other pets, and is gaining confidence each day. He is SUPER gentle and loving, and purrs allllllllll the time. He has been busy trying out every bed in the house, and loves any and all sunny spots. We love him so much!"
Dakota, now Katana
A two-year-old shar-pei mix, Katana came to us in November of 2020. This sweet girl was looking for a family to help build her confidence. She is now in a loving new home that tells us:

"This is Katana (previously Dakota).
We adopted her in November and love her very much! She has a lot of anxiety but we are working with a trainer and she’s come a long way. She loves her chihuahua sister and we’re very happy to have her with us."
