A new trend fueling art auctions...."flippers" and "frequent fliers".    The "flipping" trend  (frequent reselling of the same piece and shrinking ownership periods) is fueled by an increased global demand for certain artists, particularly from new collectors in Asia, and a shift to viewing art more as an investment.  Featured left, "The Architect's Home in the Ravine" is resold so often, it is now called a "frequent flier" .....
