OC Family Fest

The OC Foundation is excited to participate at the May 7 Family Fest. Over 1,000 community members are expected to enjoy many family-filled activities on the Oxnard College campus. Campus programs will host fun experiences, athletic teams will engage young people in recreational activities, and student and College leaders will promote the many ways Oxnard College is a great home.

Bring your family and encourage your friends to visit campus on Sunday, May 7. While you're here, plan to shop and eat at the Community Marketplace. You'll be amazed at how much it's grown!

ATHLETICS SPECIAL EVENT

OC Athletic Alumni Association Hall of Fame Banquet

You are invited to attend the second annual OCAAA Hall of Fame Banquet on May 26 in the Performing Arts Conference Center. Two incredible Oxnard College alumni will be inducted, based on their excellence on and off the court/field.

The 2023 OCAAA Hall of Fame recipients are:

Jeremiah Massey (basketball)

Randi Walters (softball, soccer)

Tickets to attend the May 26 event are $60 per person. Sponsorships are available. 100% of event proceeds support the OC Athletic Alumni Association.

BOARD

The OC Foundation welcomes Joe Black to its Board of Directors

Joe is Co-Founder and President/CEO of JSL Technologies, Inc. He brings over 35 years of industry and military experience and has served in multiple profit and loss positions at the executive level.

Joe attended Oxnard College from 1979 to 1982 before transferring to California Coast University, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations.

Joe's reason for joining the board...

"I would like an opportunity to work with Oxnard College in giving back with what I have gained from the college. What I learned from Oxnard College has helped me tremendously in my career."

OC STEM Alumni Association launches Alum of Month Program

Oxnard College's newest alumni association continues to impress since its founding at the beginning of the school year. Led by a great team of recent alums, the OCSAA is now recognizing fellow STEM alumni for their professional achievements and active alumni involvement.

CONDOR MADNESS

Recent NCAA Tournament bracket-buster event was a success

The OC Foundation teamed up with the OC Athletic Department to host a fun NCAA March Madness bracket competition. Twenty-five campus leaders, OC alumni, and community members selected their favorite teams to win the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament in a free and entertaining contest.

The Condor Madness winners are:

Second Place: Lori Jay

Last Place: Brady Levenson
