This year, we’ll have food and drinks that include sandwiches, BBQ, tacos, non-alcoholic beers and sparkling drinks, as well as some of your favorite local beers and wines. All the samples are unlimited, so you can go wild!

VIP tickets include an extra hour of time, a VIP area, specialty cocktail and samples, and a special animal encounter.

New Animal Encounters

We have two new encounters this year, flamingo and okapi, as well as an entirely new way to feed the bison!

Bison feeding is every Saturday at 12 pm for anyone who wants to participate. It’s only $6 to join in the fun, and you can use 2 attraction tickets or 2 Attraction Pass punches.

Flamingo and Okapi Encounters can be purchased online in advance. They’re limited to a few participants each time. Flamingo Encounters are $25 per participant. You’ll get a cup of the flamingos’ favorite treat to feed them. The behind-the-scenes Okapi Encounter is $35 per person. Zoo Members get a 10% discount.

Register for Camps

Don’t forget to sign up for Zoo Camp!

Our summer camps are an amazing and educational experience. There are three age groups available: grades K-1, grades 2-3, and grades 4-6. Each week is designed with animal encounters, activities, projects, and experiments that will help your child get more familiar with Zoo animals, their native habitats, and what makes them truly special in our world.

Children's Day

We’re looking forward to Children’s Day this year on June 12, 10 am to 8 pm (last entry at 7:30 pm), presented by United Federal Credit Union.

Children’s Day is a unique event each year, where admission is free for children ages 14 and under. You don’t have to register in advance, just visit the Zoo!

Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and it doesn’t apply to field trips or group trips.

Zoo Babies

Two babies were born recently at the Zoo! A male black and white colobus was born to mom Moja and dad Finnegan on March 23, and a male Sichuan takin was born on April 10. Both babies are doing well being taken care of by their mothers and can be seen in their habitats.
