Spend the Night at the Zoo
Zoo Snooze Sleepovers offer adults and children over five the opportunity to camp out in the Zoo overnight.
Although anyone can plan their own Zoo Snooze Sleepover by contacting
EdZOOcation, the Zoo has two open-enrollment Sleepovers planned: Nocturnal Animals on June 22-23 and Rainforest Animals July 26-27.
Sleepovers include two animal encounters, hands-on activities, a Zoo flashlight tour, zookeeper chat experience, and free admission to the Zoo the morning following the overnight.
Sleepovers are $30 per person for members and $35 per person for non-members. There is a discount for Scout and other similar youth groups. We ask that all participants be over five-years-old. This is a camping experience; participants will need to bring their own tents.

Evening Safaris: Perfect for Families
Evening Safaris are hour-long evening classes that offer attendees an adventure in the Zoo after-hours, led by an EdZOOcation teacher.
Evening Safaris take place twice per month: May 12 and 25; June 15 and 23; August 10 and 18; and September 14 and 22. All Evening Safaris start at 5:30 pm.
Each month has a different theme: Deserts, Grasslands, Rainforests, and Tundras. During each Safari, guests will be able to take a guided tour, enjoy an animal encounter, and learn more about the ecosystem theme.
Evening Safaris are $6 per person for members and $8 per person for non-members. They are appropriate for all ages, and families are encouraged to sign up together!
