It's Official! Our Range has a new name. Last Saturday at the in person CVOA Annual Meeting (our first in three years), we held the dedication ceremony for Neal and 129 of his closest friends and family! Thank you to all who attended and made the evening a real success.
2022 Range Badges will be going out soon! We will be submitting the names and addresses of our 2022 members shortly and new badges will be sent out by mid-April. The new gate code will become effective May 1st.
Save the Date. Range Cleanup Day and Barbecue is now scheduled for May 14th from 9am to noon for cleanup, with BBQ to follow. I'll follow up with a list of needed help as the date gets closer. Thank you all for your continued assistance making our Range the most beautiful in Maine!
5 Stand and Trap season to start May 21st and 22nd respectively. 5 Stand and Trap are both shotgun sports, and these shoots are open to novices as well as seasoned shooters. If you've never tried either sport, a certified Range Safety Officer will lead you through a shoot and give you tips along the way. These events are weekly and go from 9am to noon, usually through mid November. (note: Trap is a weather permitting venue). Also, members, their guests, and the general public are invited.
Enjoy the rest of the ski season. See you on the CVOA Neal Trask Shooting Range soon!
