“He has risen! He is not here."
- Mark 16:6
Let us rejoice in the resurrection of our Lord and reflect on the hope and newness this celebration offers to us as a parish. May God's blessings be with you and your family in a special way during this Holy season.
We continue to work to keep our parishioners safe while trying to meet the worship needs of our faith community. Please continue to be patient and supportive. Our goal is to be together again as a family, but we will not put anyone at risk in this process. We are continuing to move forward with the advice of our parish medical experts and Diocesan guidelines and will send more updates soon. Thank you for everything you have done to take care of our parish community.
Sincerely in Christ,
Rev. Msgr. Joseph M. Hendricks

Father Matthew Morris, Parochial Vicar, has been appointed by Bishop Brennan to serve as the Pastor of St. Catharine Catholic Church in Bexley, Ohio, beginning July 6, 2021. He will oversee both the parish and St. Catharine School as part of his new assignment.
Father Morris has been Parochial Vicar at St. Brigid of Kildare for the last five years. He previously served as Parochial Vicar at St. Michael the Archangel in Worthington, OH. He holds a Bachelor in Business from Ohio University, a Master of Business Administration from Bowling Green State University, and a Master of Arts in Theology from the Pontifical College Josephinum. Father Morris grew up in Lancaster, Ohio, and prior to joining the seminary, spent the beginning of his career as an accountant.
At Saint Brigid of Kildare, Father Morris has been instrumental in taking our Masses online for our at-home audience. He also oversaw the liturgical ministries, the Parish Life Committee, and assisted Monsignor Hendricks as needed. We are very grateful for his service over the past five years at St. Brigid of Kildare, and he will be greatly missed!

You are invited: Let's get together for an in-person, on-campus summer small group!
|
This in-person, on campus summer small group is for women of the parish, incoming 9th grade (fall 2021) through adult women of all ages.
We will meet on Wednesday evenings, June 16 through August 4 from 7-8:15 PM as we learn about and from the life of St. Catherine of Siena.
St. Catherine of Siena | Setting the World Ablaze
In her mere 33 years she left such a rich legacy that she is named a Doctor of the Church. She is best known for The Dialogue, a book of meditations and revelations in which she shares intimate conversations with God. She used her ‘feminine genius’ to address the problems the world presented her and her words will ring as true today as when she first exhorted fellow Christians: “Be who you are called to be and you will set the world ablaze!”
This small group is free, but participants are responsible for purchasing their own study materials for $34.95.
Plan to participate?
Complete the registration form linked below so we can plan for your participation. After submitting the form, you will be provided with a link to purchase the St. Catherine of Siena study materials from Endow Ministries.

Real Presence, Real Future Reflections: Live What We Believe
|
3rd Sunday of Easter, April 18, 2021
Pamela Harris, Resurrection Parish & RPRF Commission Member
Today’s Gospel invites us to live as missionary disciples who serve Christ in the work of the Church. We believe in the Life, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus. When He appeared in the Upper Room, the disciples’ initial response was confusion and fear. Their anxiety dwindled upon seeing His wounds and after he ate, their minds opened to the meaning of Scripture. Then Jesus commissioned them to preach salvation to all. Through our baptism, we are called to be witnesses to the Gospel, living what we believe with open hearts and minds. May the Peace of the Risen Christ be with you!

Do you still not understand?
Are your hearts hardened?
Do you have eyes yet still do not see?
Do you have ears yet still do not hear?
Do you still not understand?
These questions are woven in and out through the Gospel of Mark and as we walk around inside the heart of this Gospel, we might ask ourselves the same questions. As we invite this gospel to hold up a mirror to our lives, Jesus might ask the same question of us.
Over the next few months, I hope that you will spend time with the Gospel of Mark, not just in the few hours that we gather via ZOOM but in your own study time, your own prayer time and in the common prayer of the Church’s liturgy. Mark is the primary Gospel for the liturgy this year. It is the perfect Gospel for the times in which we are living. Mark is a fast-paced gospel. Jesus is on a mission and is driven to see it to completion. Let the Gospel find the opening in you so that it can enter into you and move around in you. Look for the opening in the Gospel so that you can enter into it and walk around in it.
DATES/TIME: Tuesday Evenings 7:00 – 8:15 PM from April 13th through May 25th via ZOOM

High School Youth Ministry: Summer Look Ahead
|
This summer is about being in person, outside, in service, and with community. Check out the opportunities below and start thinking about what to prioritize this summer.
Habitat for Humanity Playhouse Project
The Playhouse Project is a unique opportunity that allows Habitat for Humanity MidOhio to partner with sponsors (like us!) to build a playhouse for a local family, providing children with a safe place to play and imagine what home means to them!
We design the playhouse (paint colors, accessories, etc.) based on the interests of the child/ family assigned to us. We build the playhouse from a kit provided by Habitat for Humanity. There is no building experience necessary to participate.
To maintain social distancing and PGC compliance, registration is open to the first 24 teens. To register, you MUST:
- Be 14 years of age or older
- Attend a team planning and design meeting from 7:30-8:30 PM on Wednesday, June 2
-
Attend the entire build day (9:15 AM-5 PM on Saturday, June 12)
-
Click here to see a photo album of playhouses built so far.
Registration will close when spots are full.
Dublin Giving Garden
Meet at the Dublin Giving Garden to care for creation and your neighbor as you water and weed the community garden beds. The produce harvested from the Giving Garden is donated to the Dublin food pantry to nourish our community. When? Every Tuesday, June 8 – August 10 from 10-11:30 AM
Patio Board Games
Join us for board games on the Massey Teen Room patio from 7:15-8:30 PM on Wednesdays, June 2, July 7, and August 4.
We will meet on the Massey Teen Room Patio (enter through Hendricks Hall).
High School Youth Ministry Project Coordinator Applications:
Teens, you have diverse interests, valuable skills, and busy schedules! Let’s work together so your gifts and talents can be shared without overtaxing your schedule.
If you are interested in peer ministry leadership, consider a co-leading a specific project based on your interests, skills, and availability. Two to four teens will be selected to co-coordinate the planning and execution of a given project under the support of youth ministry adult leadership.
Upcoming project coordinator opportunities include Dublin Giving Garden, Patio Board Games, Fall Small Group Hospitality, and (hopefully) the Fall Half-Night Lock-in.
Applications are due by May 11, 2021.
