“We can’t do it on our own,” says Fr. Edwin in our latest video (click above). “Any gift helps. It helps the receiver – namely the students, the kids that are here – but it also helps the giver. They go out of themselves for the sake of the other. They give up what they want, for what we need.”
You can help us when we kick off a special three-day event entitled The Best of Benedict’s – Celebrating Students, Faculty and Staff – with our annual Day of Giving on May 11, followed by an all-day Online Auction on May 12. The Best of Benedict’s concludes on May 13 with a Virtual Reunion. Please visit www.sbp.org/bestof for more information. Links for each day will be added as we draw closer to May 11!

A massive and unprecedented undertaking is underway regarding the Backpacking Project. Due to the pandemic, last year’s “Trail” was postponed. That means beginning next month, the 47th and 48th Backpacking Project will be taking place simultaneously. Add in the Girls Prep Division students, and this endeavor becomes much more daunting – not just logistically, but doubling up on the number of tents, backpacks, sleeping bags and food, etc., results in a greater budget expense. Not to mention COVID-19 testing, social distancing restrictions and all the pandemic protocols. Our alumni and friends have started a #StayTogether fundraising drive. You can help the effort by clicking here.
