The Dover Chamber thanks you for following along with us during this unsettling time in which we're all simultaneously trying to cope with COVID-19. We have compiled a collection of positive member news over the past two months in hopes to remind everyone that there is still plenty of good in our community.

Help Support the 2020 DHS Senior Class!
Dover High Class of 2020 is selling yard signs (pictured above) for $15 to support its seniors. As you are aware, graduation celebrations are curtailed. The milestone events will be sadly missed by the 2020 soon to be graduates. 

Women’s Health & Wellness Center Opens at WDH Portsmouth Outpatient Center
The Center for Women’s Health & Wellness offers a new model for women’s healthcare for Seacoast women. The center brings together expert primary care and OB/GYN physicians, midwives, and women-focused specialists, including cardiology and sports medicine (coming in June), along with nurse navigators to help women manage all aspects of their care.  

WDH Opens Community COVID-19 Hotline and Respiratory Illness Clinics
The clinics are meant for patients experiencing moderate COVID-19 symptoms, such as coughing, fever (above 100.4), chills, and a general feeling of malaise or fatigue that prevents you from getting out of bed or off the couch.

Dover Kiwanis Keeps Little Feet Warm This Winter
For the last 30 years, Dover Kiwanis has provided new winter boots to children in the community. The signature program has kept thousands of little feet warm and dry in the cold New England winters.  This year, the organization provided more than 100 new pairs of boots to kids in the area.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation Gives More Than $3M for COVID-19 Relief Efforts
Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation announced in late March that it gave more than $3 million for COVID-19 relief efforts by supporting community and nonprofit organizations in Conn., Maine, Mass. and N.H.

Eversource Foundation Donates More Than $2 Million to Support Communities
These funds include the acceleration of the energy company’s regular $1.2 million annual donation to United Way agencies across all three states and an additional $1 million donation to be dispersed to those agencies and others providing social services such as food pantries and health and human service organizations.

NH Fisher Cats Introduce COVID-19 Relief Fund
"We've been so inspired with how our community has rallied together during these challenging times," said Fisher Cats President Mike Ramshaw. "We're doing everything we can to help, and we're proud to offer an incentive for fans to donate to the GraniteUnited Way COVID-19 Relief Fund."

Urban Tree Service Celebrates 30 Years of Business!

Dermatology & Skin Health Giving Away Exclusive Package to Front Line Worker
Dermatology & Skin Health is excited to share that they will be giving away an exclusive experience for a special person dedicated to fighting COVID-19!The goal behind this giveaway (valued at over $12,000) is to celebrate an individual front line worker who has shown incredible strength and resilience while serving patients.

Dupont's Provides Service Vouchers to Dover's First Responders
Dupont’s Service Center worked together with Federated Auto Parts to provide service to the first responders of Dover for the entire month of April. Dupont's gave away $50 vouchers to all local first responders and employees of WDH so they could have their oil changed or whatever auto service they may have needed. Federated Auto Parts donated the oil filters for the services.

Owner Dave Dupont says he is, "Hoping to shine a light on the employees at WDH & Dover first responders and to show there are local companies banding together to help the community.” 

Dupont’s Service Center was founded in 1961, they have grown to become one of the largest auto repair facilities in NH. Federated Auto Parts is a nationally known auto parts distribution network.
