Agape Celebration -- Help Needed!

Each year St. Austin rejoices with the new Catholics in our community at an Agape celebration following the Easter Vigil Mass. This year's Easter Vigil Mass is on April 20 at 8 p.m., and the celebration continues in Hecker Hall.

Readers Needed for Children's Stations of the Cross
Good Friday, April 19 at 10 a.m.
 
All children of St. Austin Parish and School (and family and friends!) are invited to Children's Stations of the Cross on Good Friday!  
 
We are looking for parent volunteer readers. If you are interested in reading please sign up online.
Please note that on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday, the 8:45 a.m. Mass is moved to a 9:30 a.m. start time again this year to alleviate traffic concerns in the parking garage. 
VBS Leaders Needed!
 
St. Austin will be offering Vacation Bible School on Mon., June 17- Fri., June 21 from 9 a.m. to Noon. Registration is open at www.staustin.org
 
We are in need of a Bible Story Leader and a Game Leader. If we do not get these two leaders by May 14, we will not have VBS this year. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Rachel Vaughn.
Parish Blood Drive  
Sun., May 19

Mark your calendars and save a life on Sun., May 19  by participating in a blood drive benefiting We Are Blood, which serves over 40 hospitals and medical centers in a 10-county area of Central Texas. Whether you are a regular donor, an occasional donor, or a first-time donor, we invite you to give blood at St. Austin on May 19!

Join the St. Austin Parish Choir on a Pilgrimage in 2020!
 
Our Parish Choir has planned a special trip to Washington D.C. and New York City and YOU are invited! On this 9-day pilgrimage we will begin in Washington D.C. and visit important sites such as the Holocaust Museum and the National Cemetery, and we will attend Mass at St. Matthew's Cathedral and the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception where our parish choir will be providing the music.  
 
We then travel to New York City where we will tour the island of Manhattan and our choir will perform a concert at St. Patrick's Cathedral. The pinnacle of our visit will be to St. Paul the Apostle Church, the Mother Church of the Paulist Fathers. Travel dates are June 25 - July 3, 2020.
