The NOAS Country Concert is back—and we can't wait to see you there! Mark your calendar for Friday, June 20, at Penguin City Brewing Company in Youngstown. Crowd favorite Chris Higbee returns to wow you with his electrifying fiddling skills, and we’re excited to welcome rising country star Karissa Ella. Originally from Canton, Karissa brings a fresh, authentic vibe to today’s country music scene. It’s a night you won’t want to miss!

BE THE REASON A CHILD FEELS SAFE, SEEN, AND SUPPORTED

Right now, there are children and sibling groups in our community waiting for someone to open their heart and home. At NOAS, we’re searching for compassionate, open-minded, and flexible individuals ready to make a real difference in a foster child's life.

You don’t have to be perfect—just willing to care. One child. One family. That’s all it takes to change a life forever. Our next virtual pre-service training begins April 17, and it’s the first step toward becoming a foster parent with NOAS.

Ready to take the next step? Complete the registration form or contact Sarah at 330-984-0873 or smoreton@noas.com to register. Your journey to making a lifelong impact starts now.

April is Stress Awareness Month—a great reminder to pause and check in on your mental well-being. At NOAS, we know how meaningful yet demanding our work can be. Supporting youth and families takes heart, but it can also take a toll. Managing stress helps us stay focused, resilient, and ready to serve.

Here are a few quick tips for managing stress:

·      Take breaks – Even five minutes away from your desk can refresh your mind.

·      Breathe – Deep breathing or short mindfulness moments help calm stress.

·      Connect – Talk to a coworker or share a laugh—support matters.

·      Prioritize – Tackle tasks one at a time to avoid overwhelm.

·      Ask for help – You're not alone—lean on your team and resources.

At NOAS, we will continue to support each other and build a workplace that values wellness—for ourselves and the mission we serve.
