NOAS IS CELEBRATING 4 LEGALIZATIONS
Congratulations to all of these amazing families
Sweet Richie was adopted on March 31st and we couldn't be happier for him and his family. Katie and Alison are over the moon in love with their son.
Micaela spent 337 days in foster care. She legalized on March 25th. Her parents said that "taking the chance of providing foster care CAN lead to adoption."
Keeping siblings together is the best. Samuel and Elaina were adopted on March 11th after spending almost 6 years in foster care.
16-year-old Johnathan joined his forever family on March 12th. His family wore special shirts. Watch the video to see what the saying means.
CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Recently NOAS staff came together in wearing the color blue to raise awareness about the importance of families and communities working together to prevent child abuse and neglect. We know child maltreatment is a preventable problem. All adults play a role in building the safe, stable, nurturing homes and environments needed for the healthy development of our future generation of parents, leaders, and community members. Be a connection for Ohio's children and families during Child Abuse Prevention Month.
