Launched in Scottsdale: Blue Zones Project

HonorHealth, Cigna Healthcare, and Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona are announcing the launch of Blue Zones Project in Scottsdale to help residents live better, longer lives.

Blue Zones Projects endeavor to improve the well-being of entire cities by making healthier choices easier for everyone.

Arizona Ranked #1 in the Nation for International Investment

During 2022, Arizona attracted expansion projects from 35 international companies, representing $31.94 billion in investment, according to FDI Markets.

Last year marked the second time in the past three years in which Arizona led the nation for FDI, showing the state’s leading attractiveness for investment from global technology companies.

Jonathan "Woody" Woodruff Named SBA's Arizona Small Business Person of the Year

The 2023 Small Business Persons of the Year were recently announced by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).

Congratulations to SBA’s Arizona Small Business Person of the Year Jonathan “Woody” Woodruff, CEO of ORSA Technologies in Scottsdale!

Woodruff started ORSA, an 8(a) and service- disabled veteran-owned defense contractor, in 2014. Services include engineering, communications, supply and logistics support.

Woodruff and the other winners will be recognized on Sunday, April 30 and Monday, May 1 during the National Small Business Week awards ceremony in Washington, D.C.

The Arizona Commerce Authority's Small Business Digital Academy prepares businesses to operate successfully in a digitally-driven economy. Entrepreneurs and small business owners will learn strategies for website, social media, e-commerce, search engine optimization (SEO) and analytics tools to effectively represent their business online. Small business experts guide the live learning sessions on Monday of each week.
