April Library Closures

Ripon Public Library will be closed all day on:

Friday, April 3rd for Good Friday
Sunday, April 2nd for Easter

We'll reopen with our regular hours after each closure. See you then!

Regular Hours

Monday - Thursday: 9 AM - 8 PM

Friday: 9 AM - 6 PM

Saturday: 9 AM - 4 PM

Sunday: 1 PM - 4 PM

Looking for Books, Magazines, and DVDs for Adults + Teens?

Visit the Silver Creek Room to browse and check out adult and teen materials! We've set up a special selection, and it's available during the hours listed below. These materials will move back upstairs upon completion of the next phase of renovation.

Silver Creek Room Browsing Hours:

This room will be accessible for browsing as staff availability allows, Monday through Friday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM.

Materials from this room are available by request outside of staffed hours—just ask, and we'll retrieve them for you as soon as we can!

Can't Find What You're Looking For?

Looking for an item that's not on our shelf?

Don't worry—we can help you place holds and assist you with Libby, our digital library app! Placing holds is an easy way to get materials from other libraries in our Winnefox System. Items on hold are seamlessly transported to Ripon for you to borrow! Our items in storage will be ready to circulate again in early Summer of 2026.

Have you been to the library lately?

You may have noticed things look a little different!

Work has begun on Phase 2, which includes major updates to the wing of the library that will soon serve adults and teens. Crews are updating the bathrooms, flooring, lighting, wiring, windows, and more! We're excited for the area to come together quickly, as it's due to open in June! You can look forward to increased seating, access to a first-floor public meeting room, an outdoor open air patio space, and other thoughtful additions.

Thanks to much appreciated funding from our kind community members and a sizeable grant from the U.S. Department of Treasury Capital Projects Fund, we're able to address a host of basic building needs and reconfigure our space to better serve you! We'll remain as open and functional as we can throughout this process, so feel free to come by and take a look!

There may also be occasions when we need to close temporarily or alter our programs. We recommend checking our event calendar at riponlibrary.org/events/ before coming to the library.
