FAMILY NEWSLETTER April 2023

Welcome to the April

St. Jude's Family Newsletter!

As we enter into Holy Week and the Triduum and prepare for Easter, you will find resources to help you through the season. In addition, we have many wonderful activities going on this month. We also pray for all of our young parishioners who will be receiving First Reconciliation, First Communion, and Confirmation this month.
~~~
Lord Jesus Christ, we are profoundly grateful for Your Passion and Death and for Your Resurrection to new life on Easter Sunday. Bless our Parish families as we contemplate the ultimate cause for our joy to one day be with You in heaven for eternity, Amen.
Suggested Resources of the Month
Triduum: A Spiritual Pilgrimage is a beautiful, 30 minute contemplative documentary that cinematically walks through the locations of the Holy Week story in the real and sacred places of the Holy Land bringing us tangibly nearer to the story, the landscape, and the reality of the Passion, Death, and Resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Saint Trivia
This Saint was a peasant girl who led the French Army to Victory over the English in the Hundred Years War.
She was captured by the English and died a martyr's death.
Just before she died she kissed a rough crucifix and said "Jesus, Jesus, Jesus!"
