Yesterday, we announced our newest product Fat Free Ghee, and your reaction was a mix of horror, outrage, and genuine interest. π
My friends, you've been had! There is no such thing as Fat Free Ghee. Ghee is fat! And we think GHEE IS THE BEST FAT! Why would we want to remove it? π
π
It was just our little April Fools' joke, but we did it to highlight the importance of good, healthy fats in our daily diet.

What is Ghee? And why is fat essential?
First things first: Ghee is 100% fat. While it's true we get lots of requests for Fat Free Ghee, this product is actually impossible to make! Ghee is butter that has been clarified. To clarify butter, it is slowly heated until the milk solids separate from the butter oil. The milk solids are filtered out and discarded, and what remains is pure butter oil or "ghee." As a result, ghee is 100% pure fat.
If anyone tries to sell you low-fat ghee or fat-free ghee, run the other way, because whatever they are selling, itβs not ghee!
Your body requires fat to function. Even people on a low-fat diet still need some fats. Fats are the most nutrient dense of all foods. They are a source of energy for our bodies and fats help transport the important fat soluble vitamins, A, D, E, and K, which are stored in the fats we eat. People throughout the world have traditionally used fats like butter, ghee, lard, tallow, chicken fat, olive oil, coconut oil and palm oil.
Not all ghee is created equal. The best quality ghee comes from pasture-raised, grass-fed cows. This ensures the ghee contains conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), an important fatty acid. Grassfed Ghee also has an ideal ratio of Omegas 3 and 6.
Don't be afraid of fat. It's nice to see that so many of our followers on social media already got the message. π

No offense, but what good is fat free ghee? It is an abomination.

I loved this April fool :-D !!! When I read the object of your announcement I was astonished and also a bit disappointed: how could you, the guys of Real Ghee for excellence, propose such a silly and purely voted to the "no fat wagon" claim?!?
Fat free Ghee! So good, so bad, you got me!
Haha! I was really wondering how such a thing was possible! π€£
Ha ha, fat-free ghee, impossible. π The fat is the best and only part. Glad this was a joke.π
π I'm so relieved this was an April fools joke! I had to look just to see what in the world fat free ghee could possibly be made of... and why anyone would request such a product... or why you would ever agree to make it! Whew.
My favorite April Fool's today! Thank you! π
hahaha that was THE BEST April fool's prank! :D :D
I knew that REAL ghee is ONLY FAT hahaha, how could that be, and you tricked me with putting info about melon seeds first lol... I thought with all the "new" food trends and your genius traditional products, that you came up with a "ghee" from plants (but even there are oils in plants too lol) or something else and I was excited to find out!!
Why eat ghee if not for the healthy fat? I canβt believe you caved to the customers that are falling for the lies about fat consumption. Stand up for your fat-filled ghee!
Is your fat free ghee available? I want to buy it.
