Join LCH on #GivingTuesday next week as nonprofits and community health centers across the country stay strong on the front lines of the fight against COVID-19. Your donation to LCH on May 5th will help to cover the costs of personal protective equipment for the LCH team, additional cleaning services for our three locations, staffing on-site for more acute visits, and technology maintenance for our new
Telehealth services.

The
LCH Dental Team
has been busy making and collecting new, reusable cloth masks for the community. These donations are being given alongside food distributions at local food pantries. Thank you, Dr. Preetha, for your leadership in coordinating the donations!

Telehealth Medicine at LCH
|
We are thrilled to share that LCH is now offering visits to our members through Telehealth, which connects patients and their providers through secure technology instead of being in the same room.

Kennett Square Medical Mobile Unit
|
To keep the our patients, our staff, and our community as safe as possible, we are now seeing patients
with upper respiratory and flu-like symptoms in our outdoor Medical Mobile Unit Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 pm in
Kennett Square
.
If our
provider’s recommendation is to get tested for COVID-19, our patients can now complete the testing in our Mobile Unit instead of having to get rerouted to another testing site in the county. Tests are at no cost. This is important care coordination for our current members.
For the greater public interested in COVID-19 testing, the recommendation from the health department is still to first reach out to your primary care provider on next steps. Don’t have a PCP? We can help you
establish care
at LCH as a new patient.

Dear friends,
It has been an incredible month. I commend you and your families for doing your best to stay home, stay safe, and stay positive. The restrictions put on our community and our country as a whole are unprecedented. But with social distancing and following health experts, we will get through this.
The situation continues to evolve for our health centers, but we are responding and adjusting to make sure that we can continue to provide care for the community. Thanks to our new Telehealth services and our Medical Mobile Unit in Kennett Square, we are ready for whatever is coming next with COVID-19.
Please continue to stay informed about the current status of COVID-19 in our local community through the Chester County Health Department. They are the most trusted, most reliable source available to you and your family. Updates are posted daily on their
